Amateur Radio Basic License Course

Why: ·       Develop a new hobby

                ·       Meet new people locally and around the world

                ·       Support communications in emergencies

Who:  Anyone with a valid address in Canada

When:  Current class (2015-2016 in Lloydminster) is part

way through. If enough candidates apply, a 2016-2017 class

will be held in Vermilion which would be a central point to

include candidates from Wainwright, Lloydminster, Mannville,

Elk Point, etc. with no one making more than a half hour trip.

Where: Vermilion Armoury

              5301A – 50 Avenue, Vermilion

      Fully equipped amateur radio station on site.

Cost:    $100.  Includes course instruction, student manual, Canadian

             Basic Amateur Radio Operators Licence when exam passed,

             club membership and more.
